Dr Diaa Attallah is a professional Physiotherapist with a wide experience in musculoskeletal conditions, having been an Orthopaedic surgeon and Rehabilitation specialist for more than 19 years.
Dr Diaa’s Extensive Experience
Prior to completing Bachelor of Physiotherapy at University of Canberra, Diaa completed a Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery at Cairo University. He also completed his first Master degree in Orthopaedic surgery at Cairo University in 2004, and went on to complete his second Master degree in Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation from Dundee University, Scotland in 2016.
Diaa Attallah has a wide experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, having practiced and trained for more than 19 years in Egypt, Scotland, USA and Australia.
Diaa has excellent skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
Back and neck pain with nerve root compression
Arthritic joint pain and injuries
Sports injuries
He utilises different techniques including mobilisation, traction, massage, exercise prescription and kinesiology-tape and dry needling.
Additionally, he is experienced with post-operative acute and long-term rehabilitation particularly after joint replacement.
Diaa is experienced with dealing with persons with disabilities with accredited two Australian qualifications in this career.
Having worked in Cerebral Palsy Alliance for more than three years, Diaa gained valuable experience in managing cerebral palsy cases under NDIS scheme.
